DOE is requesting information pertaining to its proposed “Waves to Water prize”, from academia, government agencies, and entrepreneurs. The feedback should be related to key areas of innovation, technology adoption and evaluation of the three-stage prize that intends to provide clean, accessible drinking water using only ocean waves as a power source.
Aerodynamic Turbines, Lighter and Afloat, with Nautical Technologies and Integrated Servo-Control (ATLANTIS) Agency is soliciting proposals develop new technical pathways for the design of economically competitive Floating Offshore Wind Turbines (FOWT). The areas of interest include engineering disciplines, and control-engineering principles from the start of the design process.
Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) is accepting applications related to Transportation Electrification; natural gas; fuel cells, hydrogen generation, delivery, and storage systems. The specific areas of interest include fuel research and technology integration, Battery Electric Heavy-duty Freight Vehicles, High Throughput Hydrogen Fueling Technologies, High-durability, Low Platinum Group Metal (PGM) Membrane Electrode Assemblies and Energy Efficient Commercial Off-road Vehicles.

DOE intends to fund proposals to accelerate commercial deployment of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) and carbon storage through a new regional initiative. The applicants should focus on addressing key technical challenges, facilitating data collection, sharing and analysis, evaluating regional infrastructure and promoting technology transfer.
The DOE’s Office of Indian Energy Policy and Programs is contemplating to fund efforts to maximize the deployment of energy solutions for the benefit of American Indians and Alaska Natives.
